24 styles
Unicode doesn't define every letter for every style — a handful of styles fall back to a few plain characters here and there (Squared has no lowercase, Subscript only covers part of the alphabet, that kind of thing). Where a style breaks down, the original character just shows through instead. Accents stack a single Unicode mark (´ ˇ ˜ etc.) onto every letter — on a few older devices a rare mark can render as a small box instead of the symbol. Decorated isn't a separate alphabet — it's one of the base styles wrapped in a symbol border (✦, 「 」, ❮ ❯…), which is how most of the 200 added styles are built.
